SB 33, which raises the annual cap of the Motion Picture, Digital Media, and Film Production Income Tax Credit from $35M to $50M, has been enacted.
HB 166, which appropriates $40M a year for Ohio’s Motion Picture Tax Credit for the next biennium, has been enacted.
HB 262, which raises the annual cap of the state’s film tax credit from $65M to $70M, has been enacted.
HB 5151, which raises the annual cap of the state’s film tax credit from $15M to $20M, has been enacted.

AUSTRALIA – NEW SOUTH WALES
The New South Wales Government has announced a new 10% Post, Digital & VFX (PDV) incentive. This new 10% PDV incentive will apply beginning October 1, 2019 to filmmakers who commit to spending over AU$500K (approx. $350K) on PDV in New South Wales and can be combined with the Australian Government’s screen production offsets and incentives.
